The train

Hey dad,

Papa took me on a train yesterday!  They have a train at the Short Pump mall  (cause it's outside) and we rode on it.  It was pretty cold, but we still had fun.  After that, we went to Burger King for a hamburger.  Papa told mom that I scarfed it down.  I love hamburgers!

I think I was getting a little tired of taking pictures by this point.

Mom says you're on your way to VA today!  But she also said that there's supposed to be a lot of snow here tonight and tomorrow and that you might have snow all the way here.  I hope you're ok.  We're praying you'll be safe.

Love you,

Buddy

Wow! What a morning, dad!

Dear Dad,

Did you see me on my horse?!  Wow!  I've had so much fun riding him.  I was thinking I would name him "Brown," but I'm not sure yet.  Do you have any suggestions?

When we first came to Papa and Da's house, I was afraid to ride the horse.  But Papa talked to me a bit about it last night and I decided I wanted to try it out.  It's so much fun!  And I can't ride the horse without putting my hat on.  This morning, I kept saying, "Mom!  Da!  Watch this!"  They thought I was so cool.

My eyes look a little weird here cause Mom did the red-eye thing and messed it up.  Oh well.

Oh, and here's my cool house!  When we got back from visiting Katie and Jared, this house was waiting for me!

It even has windows I can peak out of!

Did you know that Charlotte is 5 months old today?!  Mom thought it would be fun to celebrate by giving her rice cereal.  She did pretty well, but it took her some time to figure out what to do with her tongue.  Hee hee.  I tried to show her how to do it while I ate my cereal.  Oh, and by the way, she loves watching me ride the horse!

See you on Saturday!  I'm so excited!

Love, Buddy

Yo Daddio

Dad!  Did you know that I got to ride in a Fire Truck the other day?  Well, actually, I got to DRIVE it!  Check it out...

I'm awesome.  Grandma Norma found this for me at a yard sale.  I waited days and days for Papa to take me out in it.  I can drive it by pedaling.  It's kind of hard except when I go down the hill.

We're at Katie and Jared's this weekend.  I LOVE playing with them, especially Jared.  He's so crazy.  Aunt Katie has taken a lot of pictures, so I'll let you look at her blog when she puts them on there.

We miss you.  I know mom misses you, for sure.  Probably because I get up before 6 every day and she gets tired.  I think she misses you getting up with me.  Ha!  But Katie and Da have been so nice to play with me every morning so that mom can sleep some.

Love you, dad.

Hey Dad

Hey there Daddy,

Wow.  We heard that there was quite a lot of snow at home.  I can't even imagine it.  Mom said that there was 100 ft--- uh, I think she meant 100 inches-- of snow a few years ago.  But I was just a baby then, so I don't remember it.  But we looked at these pictures of the snow from the last few days.  Crazy!

Mom also said you called last night to invite us to go sledding.  Was that a joke?  I'd love to come, but it might take me a while to get there.  You can go ahead and wait for me, though.  Hee hee.  Just kidding.

We've stayed in our pjs all day!  We needed a day like that.  Yesterday was crazy.  We went to see Da at work and she works 40 minutes away!  Charlotte was really fussy and we both fell asleep in the car on the way home.  Mom didn't feel good cause you gave her your cold (that wasn't very nice).  Then after we took naps, we went to pick up Papa and visited great-grandma Myrtle and great-aunt Sharon.  It was fun to visit them, although they sounded really funny when they talked to Charlotte.  Why do people talk to her like that?  Anyway, we then met Da at Burger King and had dinner.  It was good, but I was so tired that I didn't want to play on the play thing... it was also a little scary cause it was so high.  I just sat on the end of the slide.  So then I got back to the house and took a really long bath and had Papa read stories to me.  Da had to come in and tell him to stop cause it was too late for me to be up.

Hey, maybe that's why I got up at 3:45 this morning!  I know.  I'm a crazy man (as you always tell me).

We miss you, but are so glad we have Skype so that we can see you all sleepy after you first get up and you can see us in our jammies and mom without makeup on (your favorite--really).

Love you, dad.  Hope you have a good day off of work since all of that snow came.  Be careful if you drive and have fun with the snowblower!  I bet it's Youd.

Buddy

P.S.  Here are some pics Da took from when we first got here on Saturday.

Dear Dad

Dear Dad,

How are things in frigid WI?  Even though it snowed in VA the other day, we're loving the 40+ weather we have right now.  Grandma (Da) and Grandpa (Papa) have a really neat play thing in the backyard that I'll play on after my nap today.  Mom (aka, the coolest lady in the world) took me and Charlotte to the playplace at the mall today.  I had lots of fun jumping off of what looked like half of a basketball.  I climbed on and said, "Ahh, ahhh, ahh, Chooooooooo" and then jumped off.  It was fun.  Then we had lunch at Subway in the FoodCourt.  For some reason, they have great deals on their subs.  Mom and I split a 6" turkey sub and had chips all for $5.25.  Mom is such a great bargain hunter!

We miss you a lot and are sad that you're not here.  But we know that someone has to stay home and shovel the snow.  Heh heh.  No, we are so glad that you work so hard for us.

I hope you have a good day.  I'll talk to you later tonight.

I love you,

Buddy
