So I'm not sure how I managed to survive yesterday. Cameron threw up all over a blanket that was on the two of us, then had some potty issues, and then threw up again while sitting in his high chair at the table (he threw up all over his dinner). The weird thing is that between all of these little incidents, he ran around like a crazy kid--as if he felt completely fine. So, Chad and I got to work cleaning him up, washing sheets, towels, blankets, etc (I get kind of germaphobic when someone is sick in the house. Just want to make sure no one else gets sick!).
Happy to report that Cameron is fine today. I think we'll venture out to the library or zoo. I know...I said zoo. And it's November 3rd. They say it'll be a record high today with 70 degree weather. I think I should take advantage of the warmth before I can kiss the sun goodbye for 6 months!
I'm surprised at how I managed not to get sick with the sight of vomit (and the act of vomiting). Chad and I were chatting about it last night and I guess I just went into mom mode. Now, if Chad had thrown up, I'm not sure what I would have done!

I'm so proud of you ... handling throw-up & loose poops makes moms develop a true tolerance for the poor little sickies in our families. Glad Little Buddy is feeling better & I hope you/Chad don't catch it - although I bet if you asked Cam for a wet washcloth, he'd do his best to get you one!

Way to go.....you're truly seasoned parents. Now, don't share this parenting secret with Chad....tell him you can't handle it again...tell him how wonderful he is with Cameron when he's tossing his baby cookies. From now on...whenever Chad is home and one of your kids is tossing the ole cookies or exploding from the other end...Chad will get the opportunity to handle it. Tabb has been fully trained over the years and I never have to do the "clean up"...although I'm great with a cool washcloth and a hug after the fact! No charge for that advice!

I'm sorry he was sick. I hate throw up, and having to clean it up is even worse. I don't know how mommies do it. Good for you.
Yes, somehow as a mom you manage when you have throw up all over yourself. I never throw up either but when you are pregnant with another baby and your kid does it, it makes it a whole different story. That's when you really hope you don't loose it! Hope you had fun at the zoo.
