Well, Charlotte Mae Shorter was born Thursday night at 11:47pm. She weighed 7.15 and was 20 inches long. I had a pretty good labor, complete with a great epidural (and super high blood pressure... ask me about that later if you want more details)!! From the time we got to the hospital until she was born, about 5 1/2 hours had gone by. But, of course, I had been contracting all day long! So, here is some of the documentation of the last few days.

Charlotte is a great baby. Seriously, she has slept all day despite my best efforts to wake her up. Let's hope this is a trend for nighttime, too. YEAH RIGHT! But she's very sweet and mellow, kind of like Cameron was as a baby. I'm honestly a little nervous about having two kids, especially two in the same room. I knew this would be a pretty big transition for all of us (especially Cameron). Wish us luck tonight!

Ginnie you looked amazing leaving the hospital. What a beautiful baby girl. I love the name, too! Congratulations to your sweet family. There is nothing better than your kids having a sibling...I love it!
You look fabulous for just having a baby! Man, I still looked 8 months pregnant the day I left the hospital! Congratulations!! She's beautiful. I hope things have been going well so far with Cameron adjusting (and of course Mom and Dad).

Congrats! Love the name. You will do great with two. It just takes a week or two to get used to sleeping in the same room and then you won't even notice. Glad to see everything went well.
