How long have you been together? Well, I guess since a little after our second date (which was a week or two after we met). After that date, I thought it was over cause I just wasn't feeling it. Chad seemed pretty interested, though. I tried to break it off with Chad on the phone, but he kept asking questions that I couldn't seem to answer..."Can we still email? Can I call you? Does that mean I can't see you anymore?" I thought I had it all figured out before the phone call, but I felt so unsure while we were talking. The conversation awkwardly ended and I felt so bad that I prayed about it. I felt like I should give him a chance. And I guess I still am! Ha!
How long did you date? We met and then got married 6 months and a day later. Yeah, much faster than both of us would have done it, but it felt so right. Plus, he was going to WI in the Fall and didn't want to do long distance. Good thing it felt right, huh?!
How old is he? He's 29...30 in November. Chad said he wants 2 more kids before he's 30. Riiiiiight!
Who eats more? I do.
Who said "I love you" first? Chad said, "I think I'm falling in love with you" and I cried...not a good cry. I was totally scared cause I had been hurt a few times before him.
Who is taller? Eh....I am.
Who is smarter? What does this mean? I think we're a good balance for each other...we're both good at different things.
Who does the laundry? We both do. If Chad runs out of clothes, he'll do the laundry (and my clothes and Cameron's usually go along with that). But I do the towels and sheets and bath mats and our clothes more regularly.
Who does the dishes?I do. Since we don't have a dishwasher and our drainer is only so big, sometimes I do the dishes 3 times a day. Good thing I don't mind doing them!
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed?If you're in bed, I do. Closer to the bathroom. Plus, the way I sleep with my right arm bent with my hand under the pillow, it's easier to be on the end. Otherwise, I hit Chad.
Who pays the bills? We both do.
Who mows the lawn? Mowing the lawn?! Have you seen the pics on our blog?! Is there any grass left? I guess a better question would be, "Who shovels your sidewalk and snow blows your driveway?" And that is our landlord, although he's an older man so his son does the snow blower a lot.
Who cooks dinner? When I was working, we both did. But since I'm home during the day now, I cook more. I feel bad that Chad has class so late. And I like trying new recipes. Usually when we have people over, Chad cooks pasta or something.
Who is more stubborn? Probably me...at least I'm more vocal about it.
Who kissed who first? Chad kissed me after tickling me...at my parents' house (I know, this sounds kind of barfy, huh?).
Who asked who out? At the end of the Singles Valentine's Dance where we met, he wanted to know how we could get together again. I thought he was talking about our wards getting together. So I told him to go talk to the Activities Chairperson. Then he said, "Well, how can I make sure you're there?" I'm sure I blushed and told him he could have my phone number.
Who proposed? Chad would say that I did. One night while we were babysitting, I asked him, "Do you want to marry me?" And he said, "You're not even down on one knee!" But really, he proposed to me the night before he graduated from UVA. He did it on the steps of the Rotunda. It was a really great night. He did a good job!
Who is more sensitive? Me...more emotional.
Who has more friends? That's a toss up. I don't think we keep in touch with people as much as we used to. But, a lot of people came to my bridal and baby showers, so that means I'm loved, right?!
Who has more siblings? I do
Who wears the pants in the relationship? Chad would say that I do, but we both do.
