What in the world would I do without my mom here? Seriously, it's so hard to "jump" up from my donut-cushioned seat sometimes that it's been great to have mom here to get Cameron for me, change his diaper, buy and make meals for us, etc. Plus, I've been pretty emotional, so it's nice to have a voice of reason with me all day. I'm a little worried about how it'll be next week when she's gone, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
Chad's been super busy with the end of the semester. I'm just glad Cam came when Chad only has a few weeks left and not a few months. That would be hard. I'm looking forward to a short break he has (yes, Chad, I said you would have a break!) between this semester and the summer one so that he can be home with us a little.
Some great things about this week: Breastfeeding REALLY helps you shrink back to size quickly (not that I'm back to myself again, but I can see it working); when Cameron just stares at things, it's neat to watch him and wonder what in the world he's thinking, especially when he looks at me; I can tell he recognizes my voice and that makes me feel pretty good; when Chad talks about how much he loves and misses the baby when he's gone at school; and again, having my mom here.

what about how much i say i love him when i'm WITH him? it's not just when i'm at school...
Treasure every second.. even when you are going CRAZY at 2AM (trust me, thinking that you are going to pull all your hair out is totally normal) these times won't last long... they go too quickly.
He's so cute!!! Yes, motherhood is quite an emotional rollercoaster, but it does get better. And you'll survive when your mom leaves, however it is nice to have that built-in help. (There are many days when I wish I had it and Travis is almost a year old!!!)
Hang in there! It took me 4 months to get my brain back, sleep again, and start to really enjoy being a mom. Most other woman adjust faster! It really does go by so fast!
We can't wait to see him in August!Madison keeps asking about Cameron. :)
Oh! He's beautiful! I can't offer any baby advice. I'm glad you are well, and I'm sorry you're hurt. Lastly, how did you get Chad to comment on your blog? (I'm jealous. Jonathan never even reads mine.)
:)
Tender. I'm really proud of you Ginny. You're awesome!
He's so cute with mom! I can't wait to come and see you!!!!! :)
